Easter Basket Ideas

Here are a few more fun items for an Easter Basket. This is a great Disney Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, or how about a Care Bear with hearts...aw!

If you start now...you can throw some grass seed in a pot and grow "real " grass for your Easter basket. A couple of eggs and some jelly beans with real grass! Simple, simple, simple! It's a great project to do with the kids!

We have some extra adorable bibs to add to that special some one's little Easter basket. (What goes better with chocolate face!)

Lenten fundraisers

St. Stephen Regional School in Port Carbon is offering some Lenten fundraisers.

Donuts for Donut Day! Yum
They are selling 1/2 dozen donut packs as well as sticky buns. The donuts are from Plain & Fancy. There are 7 donut flavors and 3 sticky bun flavors.
All orders must be placed by February 13, 2009.
Donuts will be delivered on Donut Day 2/24 starting at 6:45am.
Stop in here or at the school to place an order or call the school office directly.

Homemade Pierogies
St. Stephen will be selling Homemade pierogies by the dozen. 2 flavors available: Potato &Cheese for $3.75/dz or Jalapeno for $4.00/dz
Orders are due by 2/20/09
Delivery on 2/26/09 at 3:00pm

Again, you can stop in Susie's Cupboard to place an order or stop in at the school office or call the office directly.

Late Thursday

Here are a couple of really cute hats...............and warm too! I hope this is the last of the really cold weather! I actually saw some walkers out yesterday when it was sunny. A sure sign that things are thawing out.










Another Longaberger Easter basket with liner and there is a smaller version of this basket as well. It has the matching liner also. The photo doesn't show the side very well, but there are purple, pink and yellow woven through. It matches the liner quite nicely. Add it to your collection.....it would look great with some grass and a chocolate bunny......or a handmade egg with all the fancy colors ( I don't know how to spell it, but you know the kind that I mean).
